  1. 3 tablespoons olive oil
  2. 4 chicken thighs with skin and bone
  3. 4 mesh fresh Polish sausage (about 16 ounces), cut in half
  4. 1 medium onion, chopped
  5. 2 teaspoons herbs de Provence, divided
  6. 1 package (8 ounces) ground pork
  7. 1 can (15.8 ounces) northern beans
  8. 1 can (14.5 ounces) roasted garlic tomatoes, diced
  9. 4 tablespoons of tomato paste
  10. 1 cup unsweetened white grape juice (or white wine. I don't drink alcohol, so grape juice is your choice.)

Quick and easy instructions for kasol (baked bean flan).

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet on the stove. Fry Polish sausage in oil until golden brown. Pass through a strainer and filter.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken thighs with a teaspoon of Herbes de Provence. Fry the thighs until lightly browned. Reserve on a plate.
  4. Fry the onions until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Drain the beans and add them to the skillet. Add the sausage, the diced ham, the chopped tomatoes, the tomato purée, the white grape juice and the rest of the herbes de Provence. Wrap the chicken thighs with the beans.
  6. Cover and cook for one hour. Remove the lid and cook for another half hour, until the surface is crisp.
  7. Take it out of the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  8. Served with slices of roasted garlic buttered French bread.
