- 2 cups beef broth

Instructions for preparing chili
- Place the ground beef and onion in a medium saucepan and simmer the beef and onion for about 10 minutes.
- Drain the oil
- Add 1 tablespoon minced garlic and heat over medium-high heat for about a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes, ground spices, brown sugar, beef stock, tomato paste
- Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
