I've always thought about making spicy chicken and I finally had the chance to do it, simple cooking and it was really spicy but very tasty :)
Spicy chicken ingredients and spices.
- chicken
- garlic
- sezlot
- pepper (cayenne pepper)
- cooking oil
- Sugar
- lemongrass
- Ginger
- lemon leaves (especially for cooking)
- galangal
- fresh basil
- chicken powder
- Tomatoes
- Water
- I didn't count how many ingredients I needed, but feel free to add more if you want more flavor. I bet more on myself
Instructions for making spicy chicken
- Cut the chicken into medium pieces and wash it
- Wash any spices that need to be washed
- Cook onion, garlic and pepper until half cooked
- Mix them a little rough
- Heat the oil and add the mixed spices, mashed ginger, lemongrass, galangal, lemon leaves, fry until fragrant, add tomatoes and stir, add chicken and stir until it changes color, add water, sugar and chicken powder and mix well and stir. Covered over medium heat
- Stir every 5 minutes and allow the water to drain.
- When the water is ready, taste it and add the basil at the last minute
