Ingredients and spices for cooking smoked pork:
- (1) 5 pounds of pork
- (1) Dry Pork Rub (see my Dry Pork Rub recipe)
- (4) spoons of olive oil
Steps to make smoked pork loin
- Rub it dry. (I have a scrub recipe in my recipe list)
- Lubricate rabbit meat with olive oil, which is the binding agent for rubbing dry. Cover the pork tenderloin with a dry marinade. Cover and leave in the fridge for 2 to 8 hours. (You don't have to leave it alone, but I'll do it anyway.)
- Heat the smoker to around 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Pour 1 cup of apple juice into a small saucepan and cover the rest of the saucepan with water. (This will help keep the meat moist during smoking.) Place the smoker on the grill near the heat inlet.
- Smoke at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 hours. (1 hour per book). When the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit, the loin is done.
- Take out and let stand for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
